The UAE Judo Federation (UAEJF) was initially established as the UAE Wrestling and Judo Federation in 1999, with a subsequent evolution towards a specialized focus on judo promotion. Its inception followed a decision by the UAE General Authority for Sports and Youth. UAEJF is dedicated to addressing regional needs in sports infrastructure and fostering the local sports community. Our mission extends to nurturing responsible youth to actively contribute to the development of the United Arab Emirates.

Hosting International Events

The Judo World Tour is organized in collaboration with the Abu Dhabi Sports Council. These international Judo sporting events are hosted by the UAE Judo Federation in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The Judo World Tour serves as a qualifying competition for the Olympic Games. 99+ countries, including Japan, Brazil, Germany, Holland, France, China, USA, UK, Italy, and many more from North America, Latin America, Africa, Europe, and Asia, participate, featuring approximately 800-1000 athletes in both male and female categories. This presents a distinctive sponsorship opportunity for UAE companies to demonstrate their support for international sports affiliated with the Olympic Games. The exposure companies receive within the global sporting communitv. through visiting national sports federations, officials, competitors, and extensive media coverage locally and internationally, is unparalleled.
